Monday, Sept. 16

Fourth Annual Honorine St. Jude Golf Classic: 11:00 a.m. The event is to benefit the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The event will provide a full day on the greens and an inspirational experience at the tournament awards dinner, including live entertainment, celebrity guests, a silent auction, and much more. $275 Individual, $1,000 Foursome. Mostly Mother Goose Story Time: 10 a.m. An ongoing, weekly story time designed for children 24 to 35 months old. The story time consists of mostly Mother Goose rhymes with some classic and modern tales and songs included. Some props are used to help children visualize the rhymes. "Beyond Brushwork: Computer Art, Drawings, Mixed Media, Pastels, Prints" Exhibit: Noon to 5 p.m. Awards will be presented for artwork in “Beyond Brushwork,” an exhibit of high-quality computer art, drawings, mixed media, pastels, and prints, during an opening reception. Running a Marketing Agency: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The interactive workshop provides useful, practical small business information on a variety of topics important to business. Community Chorale Seeks Chorale Enthusiasts: 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Join a  four-part 70-member chorus performing concerts at Christmas and in the spring, and at local community functions upon request. Little Laxers - Beginner Lacrosse Clinics for 3 1/2 to 7 Years Old : 4:00 p.m. A program for player ages 3 1/2 to 5 year and 6 to 7 years old, interested in learning basic lacrosse skills, developing their social skills and having fun. Mini Musicians: 11:00 a.m. The weekly sessions include singing, dancing, musical stories, and jamming with musical instruments.
