Y Chess Club: 10 a.m. Children and their families can learn how to play chess and perfect their skills at this free instructional time. Norwalk YMCA, 370 Westport Ave.
Saturday, Nov. 24
"The Interrupters" Screening: 9 a.m. Unify 4 Norwalk will host a screening of the documentary "The Interrupters," which tells the story of former gang members in Chicago who work to stop violence in the city. A panel discussion with the Rev. Ray Dancy and members of the police department will follow. Norwalk Police Department, 1 Monroe St.
African Drummer: 10 a.m. The popular African drummer from Infinite Roots will be at the library for an interactive concert. There will be drums for everyone to play. Norwalk Public Library, 1 Belden Ave.
