Friday, Feb. 15
The Mayor's Gallery Reception: 3:30 p.m. There will be a reception for the "Consolidation of Norwalk 1913-2013" exhibit, which features images from when Norwalk was three cities and its evolution over the past 100 years. Norwalk City Hall, 125 East Ave.
Saturday, Feb. 16
Black People Making History in Norwalk: 3 to 4:30 p.m. Norwalk celebrates Black History Month by honoring Beatrice "Bea" Brown, Marguerite Fuller, Dr. Ruby Shaw, the Rev. Dewitt Stevens Sr. and Leroy S. Vaughn, who are all listed in the booklet "Black People Making History in Norwalk." A meal will be served. South Norwalk Branch Library, 10 Washington St.
Sunday, Feb. 17
Drama Club Fundraiser: 5 to 7 p.m. The Brien McMahon High School Drama Club will host a fundraiser for its musical "Guys and Dolls." There will be a performance by Brien McMahon students. Cost is $20 per person. O'Neill's Pub and Restaurant, 93 N. Main St.
