Parents’ Night Out: 5:30 to 11 p.m. Parents can enjoy dinner, dessert, music and both silent and live auctions. Price is $20, with proceeds going to the Norwalk High School Marching Bears. American Legion Hall, 60 County St.

Saturday, Jan. 26

Norwalk Exchange Club Winter Gala: 6 p.m. This annual gala will feature music from the Dirty Water Dogs. Tickets are $100 per person, with all proceeds benefiting the Exchange Club Parenting Skills Center in support of the prevention of child abuse. The Norwalk Inn, 99 East Ave.

Sunday, Jan. 27

Climate Change and the Environment: 2 to 4 p.m. Environmental educator Heather Crawford will deliver a talk on climate change and its effects on the environment at the Norwalk Land Trust's 40th annual meeting. Rowayton Community Center, 33 Highland Ave.
