Common Council: 8 p.m. The Norwalk Common Council will meet. Common Council Chambers, Norwalk City Hall, 125 East Ave.

Wednesday, Jan. 9

Discussion About Behavioral Issues: 11 a.m. Mark Goldenberg, executive director of the Brain Balance Achievement Center of Norwalk, will host an informational program for parents of kids struggling with conditions such as ADHD, Asperger’s and social, academic and behavioral issues. Thursday, Jan. 10

Community Cooperative Nursery School Open House: 7 to 9 p.m. Parents looking for a nursery school for their children can learn about the CCNS programs and teachers. Community Cooperative Nursery School, 4 Trolley Place.

Friday, Jan. 11

Early Childhood Open House: 10:30 a.m. to noon. Parents and children can sample the art, science, music and dance programs offered in the Early Childhood classes. Free with museum admission. Stepping Stones Museum for Children, 303 West Ave.
