LinkedIn expert Sandra Long, owner of Post Road Consulting LLC, will teach the intensive, five-hour workshop. During the training, LinkedIn profile head shots or business portraits will be created by professional portrait photographer Cynthia McIntyre, owner of Cynthia McIntyre Photography. The veterans will also receive a free business suit, shirt, tie and shoes from the Save-A-Suit organization.
“My son is a veteran, so I want to do my part to help veterans in honor of their service to our county,” said Long. “Studies indicate that 98 percent of employers and recruiters use LinkedIn as a recruiting tool. I know firsthand that a great LinkedIn profile and head shot will accelerate a job search.” Unemployed veterans are encouraged to take advantage of this free class.
