Tickets Still Available As Fairfield Native John Mayer Plays Bridgeport

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Tickets are still left to see seven-time Grammy Award-winner John Mayer, a Fairfield native, on Monday night at the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport.

His current tour is promoting his new album, "Paradise Valley". He has not played this close to his hometown of Fairfield since 2004.

Opening for Mayer is "American Idol" winner Phillip Phillips. The show starts at 7 p.m.

Tickets are on sale here or by calling Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000 or the arena's box office at 203-345-2400. It is located at 600 Main St. in Bridgeport.

Known as a musician who defies genre boundaries, Mayer is known for collaborations with a range of artists. From rock to blues, hip-hop to jazz to country, Mayer has performed or recorded with Eric Clapton, B.B. King and Buddy Guy, among others.

He has sold more than 20 million albums worldwide.
