"Bah," (or worse) might be what you think of psychic shows but catch mentalist Joshua Kane's "Borders of the Mind, The Psychic Show for the Whole Family," at The Quick Center on Feb. 5 and your "bah" will morph into "ah!" Kane charms audiences with funny patter and then stuns them with his ability to read their minds. You won't be just sitting back and observing, either. In his interactive show, Kane adds to the entertainment by having the entire audience do some intuiting and telepathizing as well. Kane seems to have had an idea, early on, that he had the x factor. On his website , he describes himself as "obsessed from an early age with books, magic, spoken word, fire-eating and the theatre." He followed his theatre intuition, studying with some of the greats, including Stella Adler, the National Shakespeare Conservatory and mime Marcel Marceau. So if you've ever wondered if psychics have special powers, watch Joshua Kane in performance. You might not get a definitive answer -- but you'll be completely engaged by his dazzling tricks. And it's likely that, when you leave, you'll have a lot more questions to ponder. Kane performs two shows, at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tickets are $30-$45. For more information, visit The Center's website .
