South Norwalk Library Holds Children’s Author Vote

NORWALK, Conn. – The South Norwalk Branch Library is hosting a vote for your favorite picture and chapter book authors Monday and Tuesday.

Children and adults will be given two ballots – one for each of the two categories – and they will have a choice between four different teams in each in which to vote.

The votes can be cast during library hours: 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Monday, and noon to 7 p.m. on Tuesday. The results will be announced on Wednesday. The library is located at 10 Washington St.

The nominated teams vying for votes in the picture book category are: Eric Carle and Anne Rockwell; Dr. Seuss and Bill Peet; Mo Willems and Laura Numeroff; and Jane O’Connor and Victoria Kann.

In the chapter book category, the nominated teams are: J.K. Rowling and David Adler; Rick Riordan and Frank W. Dixon; Jeff Kinney and Marjorie Weinman Sharmat; and Mary Pope Osborne and Carolyn Keene.
