South Norwalk Branch Library Celebrates National Poetry Month

NORWALK, Conn. - The South Norwalk Branch Library celebrates National Poetry Month on Saturday, April 12, at noon.

For the event, drop by and read one of your favorite poems, and discuss your favorite poet or recite your own original poem. 

Following the discussion, the movie "Sylvia" (110 minutes), starring Gwyneth Paltrow and Daniel Craig (the current James Bond), will be shown. The movie details the life of poet Sylvia Plath and her tumultuous relationship with her husband Ted Hughes, who was also a poet.

This program is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
