The reception is part of the “Sundays at Sotheby’s” series.

Bruckmann is a seasoned artist known locally for his focus on New England landscapes.  He also serves as an instructor at the Rowayton Arts Center, where he teaches various courses.

“There’s a reason why Frank is such a popular instructor at the Rowayton Arts Center,” said Darien agent Molly Crosland, who spearheads much of the brokerage’s artist series. “His work is truly incredible, and I can’t wait to showcase it for all to see. Be sure to stop by our office to experience the great talent of this wonderful local artist, and enjoy a relaxing community gathering among good company and beautiful art.”

He began his studies at the DuCret School of Art in New Jersey, while also taking summer classes at the Art Students League in New York City.

Eventually, Bruckmann decided to further his experience by entering the École des Beaux-Arts, an influential art school in France. Bruckmann spent eight years traveling between France and Spain, gaining artistic inspiration from classic European masters featured in renowned museums such as Louvre in Paris, and The Museo del Prado in Madrid.

Now a resident of New Haven, Bruckmann continues his career as a painter.

During the public artist reception, the Rowayton office will welcome some of Bruckmann’s latest paintings to its walls and will continue to display them throughout the entire month. Wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served in a casual setting with opportunities to talk with Bruckmann and discuss his work.
