SoNo Library In Norwalk Kicks Off Summer Reading With Jeff Boyer

NORWALK, Conn. -- The SoNo Branch Library in Norwalk will kick off its summer reading program with a visit from Jeff Boyer, the Bubble Trouble Man.

“Every Hero Has a Story” will run from 10 to 11 a.m. on June 13 on the SoNo Branch Library, 10 Washington St. in Norwalk, and feature Boyer’s mix of music, magic and comedy. Boyer’s act includes a bubble volcano, a bubble roller coaster and fog-filled bubbles.

Children of all ages are encouraged to dress in superhero costumes.

Following Boyer’s performance at 11 a.m. will be the unveiling of the "Take Flight” quilt. Designed by author and illustrator Lizzie Rockwell, the quilt received graphic and sewing help from the library community and from the Peace by Piece Norwalk Community Quilt Group.
