Save On Norwalk Boat Show Tickets While You Can

NORWALK, Conn. -- There is still time to purchase tickets to one of the region's most popular boat shows before the Norwalk Boat Show sails into town on Thursday.

The Norwalk Boat Show will be docking in the city from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 19 to Sept. 22 at the Norwalk Cove Marina, 48 Calf Pasture Beach Road, East Norwalk.

Admission is $15 for adults. But you can save $2 by buying your tickets in advance online through Wednesday, Sept. 18. It's free for kids 15 and younger when accompanied by an adult.

This is the Northeast's most popular in-water boat show. From fishing to cruising to family fun, there are boats for every lifestyle and budget. See and board the latest model boats, including luxury yachts, sport fishers, cruisers, ski boats, sailboats and more. Check out the latest in marine accessories, electronics, engines and fishing gear, too.

This year's show offers a large line-up of boating education, entertainment and special attractions, including on-the water demos and boat handling clinics, boating, fishing and sailing seminars, fun kids' activities and more. Get tips from the pros at the free seminars, covering everything from electronic navigation to boating and fishing.

In the Try It Cove, attendees can check out Stand-Up Paddling & Kayaking Classes, Tours and Demos as well as take a stand-up paddling course, kayak tour, take a yoga class or take a ride on a Sealeg, powerboat or sailboat.

Johnathan Hillstrand, co-captain of the Time Bandit fishing vessel featured on Discovery Channel's reality series "Deadliest Catch," will be a special guest at the show. He will be there from 1 to 3 and 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, noon to 2 p.m. and 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 2 p.m. Sunday.
