Santa To Light Tree At Norwalk's Stepping Stones Tonight

NORWALK, Conn. -- The holiday season kicks off Thursday evening at Stepping Stones Museum for Children with the lighting of a tree by Santa.

The museum is decorated for the season and a host of "Holiday Happenings" are planned.

These include the annual tree and courtyard lighting ceremony from 5 to 8 p.m. Admission is free and there will be an activity to make holiday ornaments to put on the tree. Holiday music, hot cocoa and light snacks are all planned.

Holiday Happenings

Santa meet and greet: Saturdays: Dec. 3, 10, 17, and Tuesday, Dec. 20 to Saturday, Dec. 24, 11 a.m. to noon. Pictures may be taken with Santa and there will be an art activity.

Holiday handbell performance, Shelton's Trinity Lutheran Church Bell Choir, Saturday, Dec. 10, 2 p.m.

Stepping Stones Museum for Children is located at 303 West Ave., Norwalk.
