Members collected $2,000 for Gonzalez, who became paraplegic after being struck in the back by two sniper's bullets during his second tour of duty in Iraq.

The robotic Power Stand Up chair will allow him to stand for a few hours a day.

Post 162 members presented the check to the Marine Corps League.
