NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk's Triangle Community Center is set for its seventh annual Visionary Party on Saturday.

The "Denim & Diamonds" party starts at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Hyatt Regency in Greenwich. The event "promises to be the largest Visionary Party to date with a sell-out crowd expected at the venue, a silent auction with over 120 fabulous items, music by DJ Lady Tita and open bar cocktails sponsored by Diageo," according to a press release.

TCC is set to present three honorees with Commitment to Service Awards.

The first honoree is Anne Stanback, founding executive director of Love Makes a Family, "the organization that lead the fight to achieve marriage equality in Connecticut," according to the release.

"Anne has more than 30 years of experience in fighting for social justice," representatives said in the release.

The second honoree is Dan Woog, a journalist, educator, soccer coach and gay rights activist.

"Dan has helped thousands of teenagers through the LGBTQ youth group he founded over 20 years ago and still facilitates every Sunday at TCC, Outspoken," according to the release.

The third honoree is Imperial Sovereign Court of All of Connecticut.

"The court has raised hundreds of thousands for local LGBTQ organizations over the last decade and looked fabulous while doing it," representatives said in the release.

“The Visionary Party is the largest LGBT event that happens in Fairfield County each year," said TCC's Executive Director Anthony Crisci. "It serves as an opportunity for our community to come together to celebrate those who have made incredible contributions to LGBT people in CT, all while raising money to support the continued mission of our center. Each year the event gets bigger and better and is absolutely not to be missed."

Tickets for the event can be purchased online at the group's website until Oct. 4 or at the door the night of the event.
