Norwalk's FCA Hosts ‘A Taste Of Fairfield County’

NORWALK, Conn. – Family & Children’s Agency’s Junior Board is hosting “A Taste of Fairfield County” from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  on Thursday, Nov. 13 at Aitoro, 401 Westport Ave.

This event brings together some of Fairfield County’s most celebrated restaurants, chefs and caterers to provide food samplings, along with drinks and live music to support the middle school youth in the After School Program. 

“We are grateful for all the hard work FCA’s Junior Board has put into ‘A Taste of Fairfield County,’” said Robert F. Cashel, president and CEO of FCA. “Last year’s inaugural event raised more than $7,000 and we hope to make this year an even greater success.”

Food vendors will include A Dash of Salt, DiMare Pastry Shop, Flipside Burger, Norwalk Community College, Nuestra Cultura LLC, Paella, Strada 18 and Taco Loco.  

Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased in advance online at the Family and Children’s Agency website here.

The After School Program serves 50 Norwalk middle school youth on the campus of Norwalk Community College Monday-Friday. In addition to academic support, the program offers enrichment activities, helps promote character development, reinforces executive functioning skills and prepares students for a successful transition into high school.
