Norwalk Public Library Preps For Spring Booksale

NORWALK, Conn. -- The Friends of the Norwalk Public Library System will conduct its Spring Book Sale, running from Saturday, April 30 through Tuesday, May 3 in the library’s main auditorium.

A special sale devoted to children’s books will take place Thursday, April 28. Also back by popular demand, will be the Friends Café, open Saturday and Sunday, where book lovers will be offered an array of homemade treats. All proceeds go to benefit the Norwalk Public Library System. Books available for sale will include hardcover and paperback classics, contemporary fiction and non-fiction.

There also will be many decorative arts and children’s books available, as well as DVDs, music CDs and audio books.

The book sale schedule includes:

  • Thursday, April 28 - children’s books only, 3-7 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 30 – full price 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 1 – half price 1-4:30 p.m.
  • Monday, May 2 - $4 per bag 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Tuesday, May 3 – free day (items will be in the main reading area, including sale book rack) 9 a.m. to noon
