NORWALK, Conn. -- As part of the Norwalk Public Library’s Healthy Minds Healthy Bodies series, the National Kidney Foundation will present “Kidney Health & How to Become a Living Donor,” in the main auditorium on Wednesday, Jan. 20, from 7 to 8 p.m.
Speakers at the event will include: Karen Corbin, Executive Director of the National Kidney Foundation; Richard Formica, professor of nephrology and medical director of adult and medical kidney transplantation at Yale University School of Medicine; and two kidney donors, Ned Brooks and Connie Velander.
The program is free and open to the public.
In the event of inclement weather, the presentation would be changed to Thursday, January 21, at 7 p.m.
