Maritime Aquarium Offering Cellphone Photography Class

NORWALK, Conn. – The exotic tropical butterflies in the Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk’s "Flutter Zone" exhibit are so beautiful that visitors want to take photographs of them with their cellphones. But how do you shoot really good photos of butterflies with your cellphone?

On Wednesday at 9 a.m., photographer Kristen Jensen will show you how in a special one-hour class for users of any camera-equipped cellphone. The cost is $10 in addition to aquarium admission. (Aquarium members pay $5.)

Participants younger than age 16 must be accompanied by an adult 21 or older. Advanced registration is required. Call 203-852-0700, ext. 2206 or sign up online by clicking on public programs under the “Fun & Learning” tab.
