In only 15 minutes, people of all ages can learn to use hands-only (compression) CPR to assist a person experiencing a cardiac event.
The goal of Norwalk’s Hands for Life Day is to teach thousands of individuals how to perform hands-only CPR and to use an automatic external defibrillator.
“Hands-only CPR gives cardiac arrest victims the best chance for survival,” said Anne Bartolone, director of cardiovascular clinical operations at Norwalk Hospital, in a press release.
