Get a glimpse of pirate life on July 14-15, and July 21-22 when you take a round-trip ferry ride to the Norwalk Seaport Association’s “Pirates Weekend” on Sheffield Island. Once there, you will be greeted by a posse of pirate re-enactors who will entertain with gunfire and sword fighting demonstrations, sea chanteys, storytelling and other fun-filled activities.
Pirates Weekend activities are free, but participants must purchase round-trip ferry tickets to Sheffield Island. The Norwalk Seaport Association ferry to Sheffield Island departs at 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. from the Sheffield Island dock, adjacent to the Stroffolino Bridge, at the corner of Washington and Water Streets in South Norwalk.
