Fairfield Library Offers Market Research Series For Businesses

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield Public Library is offering a two-part series on small business strategies with SCORE mentors Dina Elliott-Maison and Jim Hisey.

The first session's topic will be "What It Is and How to Use It," and will focus on market research as a critical tool for understanding your business. Learn how it drives your planning, marketing, product development and business growth strategies.

The second session will focus on "Qualitative and Quantitative Primary Research and Secondary Research." What they are, how and when to use them, how they work together and what to do with the results will be covered.

The first session is Thursday, Jan. 14; the second is Thursday, Jan. 21; both are at 7 p..m. in the Rotary Room at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road. Registration is requested.

These programs are part of the Small Business Strategies series for current and prospective entrepreneurs, presented through a partnership with the Greater Bridgeport Chapter of SCORE, a nonprofit dedicated to helping small businesses succeed through education and mentorship.
