North Arlington Now Boasts All-Republican Council

NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. -- Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno ushered in a new era at North Arlington's reorganization meeting  Sunday when she swore in three newly elected members to the Borough Council, making it an all-Republican council, reports NorthJersey.com.

The new members of the council are Brian Fitzhenry, Allison Sheedy and Mario Karcic; Fitzhenry took two oaths -- to serve on the council and as fire chief, NorthJersey.com said.

Also during the reorganization meeting, the council elected Richard Hughes as its president and Dan Pronti as its vice president, NorthJersey.com said.
