The interview appeared in Prototherma, a newsweekly in Athens, the Greek city where Fotis Dulos was raised, according to CBS 2 News New York.

During the interview with the publication's editor, Dionisis Thanasoulas, Dulos raised questions about Jennifer Dulos' psychological state, said CBS.

“Jennifer gradually began to take me out of her life and become increasingly distant, a hermit,” Fotis Dulos said, according to CBS. “I’m sorry to say it but Jennifer was suffering from serious psychological problems that I didn’t immediately understand.”

CBS 2’s Tony Aiello conducted a video interview with Thanasoulas, who said that Fotis seemed stressed, but somehow peaceful because he was out of jail.

Aiello also questioned defense attorney Norm Pattis on whether the interview violated the gag order.

Pattis told Aiello that Fotis Dulos’ comments were not a violation because the "bar simply applies to prejudicial pretrial publicity about specific topics. The interview violates no order.”

Pattis has filed a motion with the state Supreme Court in an effort to have the gag order lifted.

Fotis Dulos is due back in court on Friday, Oct. 4, and it's not clear if the District Attorney will bring up the Greek interview.

Fotis Dulos and his ex-lover Michelle Troconis have both been arrested twice in connection with the case. They are out on bond and prevented from leaving the area.

Jennifer Dulos has been missing since Friday, May 24 since dropping off her children at school in New Canaan.

Anyone with information regarding the disappearance of Jennifer Dulos is asked to contact the New Canaan Police tip line at (203) 594-3544.
