NORWALK, Conn. – The Norwalk-based Human Services Council is seeking sponsors, advertisers and walkers for the fifth annual SoNo Stroll on June 5 in Norwalk.
Proceeds from the event support the Human Services Council and its five programs: Chidlren’s Connection, Dr. Robert E. Appleby School Based Health Center, Mid-Fairfield Substance Abuse Coalition, Norwalk Mentor Program and 40 South Main Street Supportive Housing.
Guests at the event can attend a cocktail reception and enjoy dinner at one of 14 participating restaurants. Tickets are $150. People can also make tax-deductible contributions to the Human Services Council.
The Human Services Council has identified unmet community needs and has filled the gaps by creating and fostering programs that educate, safeguard and empower the people of our communities. Collaborating with other local agencies, the Human Services Council serves more than 8,000 children, families and individuals each year.
