Cultural Alliance Of Fairfield County Creates New 'ACE' Awards

NORWALK, Conn. -- The Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County will give outs its Inaugural ACE Awards at a May 19 breakfast, honoring individuals, organizations, and businesses.

Westport Resources, an independent investment and financial planning firm in Norwalk, has become the first platinum sponsor for the event. 

It will honor individuals, organizations, and businesses who have made a significant contribution to the Fairfield County community through arts and culture, or who have enriched the arts and culture sector through volunteerism or patronage.

The ACE Awards will be given in five categories: Artist, Citizen, Corporate, Educator and Nonprofit. Recipients will be honored at an awards breakfast on May 19 at the Shore and Country Club in Norwalk, which will feature keynote speaker Arthur Levitt, the 25 and longest-serving chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission. 

Levitt will be introduced by Karen Brooks Hopkins, president emeritus of the Brooklyn Academy of Music and current Senior Fellow in residence at the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. 

CAFC also proudly announces ACE Award's Gold Sponsor is Cohen and Wolf, a regional law firm that prides itself on community involvement and Fairfield County Bank.
