Peekskill Readies For St. Patrick's Day Parade, Grand Marshal's Pub Tour

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- Grand Marshal Chef Stanley Rupinski and his aides will lead the 27th Annual Peekskill St. Patrick’s parade on Saturday, March 12.

The parade steps off, rain or shine, at 3 p.m., from Assumption Church on Union Ave. and moves through Downtown Peekskill along South Street, Division Street, Main Street and James Street. 

The reviewing stand is on James Street. The dinner kicks off Peekskill’s festivities.

The Grand Marshal and aides are piped into each establishment by Pipe Major Joe Brady, who leads both the Peekskill St. Patrick’s Parade and the NYC St. Patrick’s Parade every year. 

Then on Saturday, the day starts with the Grand Marshal’s brunch from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Elks Club on Brown St.

Breakfast is $12 for adults. A St. Patrick’s Mass at Assumption Church will be held on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
