The event is set for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 19, at the Stepping Stones Museum for Children at 303 West Ave. in Norwalk. The festivities will begin with the introduction of host Benedict the Egg.
"Despite the fact that this is our first-ever Egg-stravanganza, we already know that this whimsical egg-sperience will be all that it’s cracked up to be…and then some," representatives said in a release. "We’re not egg-saturating or yolking around. The Egg-straordinary Egg-stravaganza will be filled with family fun. Let us egg-splain."
Kids can get their faces painted, check out the egg flipping station, try to keep eggs balanced on their heads during a dance balance competition, play a game of tic-tac-toe or attempt to toss an egg through the target hole in an egg toss. Musicians Jay and Ray will perform with their trademark brand of interactive, kid-friendly music.
The Egg-straordinary Egg-stravaganza is free with museum admission: Members, free; adults $15; children $15; children under 1 free; seniors (over 62) $10.
No registration is required for the event. For more information, call 203-899-0606 or visit the Stepping Stones Museum for Children website.
