Celebrate China's Mid-Autumn Festival In South Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. -- The Mid-Autumn Festival, the second most popular holiday in China, will be celebrated by the  South Norwalk Branch Library on Saturday.

The free event will be from 1-3 p.m. at the library, 10 Washington St. The festivities will kick off with a light lunch, a book hunt for children and a trivia game about the festival for adults. Winners will be awarded with moon cakes.

Also at the event will be Jia-Yi He, an award-winning, world-class harmonica virtuoso who has received numerous awards at international competitions in England, Germany, Israel, Japan and the U.S., as well as having appeared on "America’s Got Talent." He will perform classical Chinese music accompanied by a string quartet.
