Attention Foodies: Greenwich Wine + Food Festival Announces Lineup

GREENWICH, Conn.– The 2017 Greenwich Wine + Food Festival, presented by Serendipity magazine and benefitting the Mario Batali Foundation, the Friends of James Beard Benefits and the Town of Greenwich Parks and Recreation Foundation, has announced its final schedule and list of participants.

The festival takes place Friday, Sept. 22 and Saturday, Sept. 23

Celebrity chefs Mario Batali, Scott Conant, Alex Guarnaschelli and Adam Richman are among those conducting cooking demos, book signings and mingling with festival attendees during the signature day of the festival, which takes place Saturday.

The Grand Tasting Tent event, which features more than 150 food and beverage tastings, goes from noon to 5 p.m. There will also be lawn games such as corn hole, giant Jenga and other fun activities along with cooking demos, an Ethan Allen Celebrity Green Room featuring celebrities and culinary experts and musicians who will be interviewed by Serendipity contributing editors Chef Matt Storch and Chef Robin Selden, tasting seminars and more.

Friday night is a master chef dinner honoring Chef Conant, a veteran of both “Chopped” and “Top Chef" where Serendipity’s 2017 Most Innovative Chefs and the Festival Ambassador Chefs prepare creative cuisine at the water’s edge.

The evening also includes a live musical performance by Big Head Todd and the Monsters.
