Arts Festival Comes To Norwalk's Mathews Park This Weekend

NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk will host a juried arts festival in Mathews Park on Saturday, June 28, and Sunday, June 29.

More than 150 juried artists will showcase museum quality paintings, prints, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics and fine crafts.

Mayor Harry Rilling will kick off the opening at noon Saturday at the Center for Contemporary Printmaking, where Norwalk's Talent Education Suzuki School (TESS) students will perform during a “Sketch the Mayor” portrait drawing contest.

The Lockwood-Mathews Museum will provide $5 mini-tours. There’s also self-guided tours of historic Pine Island graveyard.

The event will be held rain or shine. Admission and parking are free. 

Mathews Park is located at 299 West Ave. in Norwalk.
