"I think of my family and friends as I choose the items for my store," said Abrahamsen. "My sister, my mom, my nieces.
"What would they like to give and get? What will they think is stylish but appropriate for their lifestyle and budget in Wilton?"
And while the product and the location of the boutique have evolved since she began in 2010 -- she started with an online business before moving to a booth within Sono Marketplace to finally moving to a full-time location in Wilton -- she said her mission has always been to offer unique products of a high quality and reasonable price.
Spring trends going on now:
- Off-the-shoulder and cold-shoulder tops and dresses - from super casual t-shirts to party dresses. "It's a tasteful way to show just a little skin," said Abrahamsen.
- White is everywhere. "White is always associated with summer - especially around graduation time - but this year it is a particularly dominant color for tops and dresses," explained the Wilton native.
- Lace detail continues through spring and summer. "Whether it's a touch of lace trim at the bottom of a t-shirt, a hoody pullover with a lace-back insert, or an over lace dress, the look will be available for everyone and every occasion."
