Three Iconic Offerings Will Be Cut From McDonald's Menu In Norwalk

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Fairfield County residents may soon see a slightly more limited menu at McDonald's, according to USA Today.

In several key markets, the fast-food giant is testing a more limited selection for the Quarter Pounder with Cheese, the Premium Chicken Sandwich and the Snack Wrap, USA Today said.

The items won't be completely cut from the menu but will have fewer options. The Quarter Pounder will be scaled back from four offerings to one while the chicken sandwich and snack wraps will be dialed back from three offerings to one, USA Today reported.

McDonald's also announced it will cut eight items and five extra value meals from its lineup in an effort to simplify the menu.

It is also developing the "Create Your Taste" menu, which is designed to give customers a more personalized experience and will also give locations more autonomy to cater to local customer bases.
