Stop & Shop Adds New Pickup Service At Norwalk Stores

NORWALK, Conn. -- Four Stop & Shop supermarkets in Fairfield County are now offering new pickup options. The stores in Norwalk, Westport and Wilton have teamed up with the Peapod service to offer online shoppers free delivery to their home or to another location.

Online shopping and delivery service is now available through Stop & Shop.

You can also specify the time of day for pickup. The following Stop & Shop stores are participating:

380 Main Ave., Norwalk
385 Connecticut Ave., Norwalk
1790 Post Road E., Westport
5 River Road, Wilton

Shoppers can browse online or enter their Stop & Shop card to shop from a list of items previously bought in the store. Then you choose a location and pickup time from the one-hour window. Submit and pay for your order.

Customers pick groceries at the specified location during the time slot selected. An associate will greet you and have your groceries loaded into your car, all within five minutes.

Online shoppers still get weekly specials and real deals as well as earn A+ School Rewards and Gas Reward points. They can also use manufacturer coupons.
