NORWALK, Conn. – Fortune magazine has named FactSet Research Systems in Norwalk one of the top 100 companies to work for in the United States.
The company, which provides tools to monitor global markets and public and private companies, was listed as the 44th best company to work for, up from 75th the previous year.
“This financial information provider encourages all employees to take a financial analyst certification exam,” Fortune wrote. “Those who pass can get bonuses of up to $17,500.”
Factset employs 1,867 people, having increased its workforce 12 percent in the past year, according to Fortune. It is located at 601 Merritt 7, and generated $727 million in revenues in 2011.
California-based Google, which employs nearly 54,000 people, was ranked as the nation’s top company to work for.
