Norwalk Marketing Agency Gets State Aid For Expansion

NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk-based Silver Creative Group will receive more than $225,000 in grants and loans to help the branding and marketing agency expand operations and hire up to 50 percent more employees, Gov. Dannel P. Malloy announced Wednesday.

Silver Creative Group has built a reputation for creating new brands, developing and programming websites, designing consumer product packaging, and launching fully integrated online and offline marketing campaigns for a wide range of clients in Connecticut and across the mid-Atlantic region.

Clients include the University of Connecticut School of Business, Heavenly Bites, Torie & Howard Organic Candy and many leading real estate developers in New York City.

The company, co-founded by the husband and wife team of Creative Director Donna Bonato and Managing Director Paul Zullo, is celebrating 10 years in business. 

“This funding will help us gain a lot more visibility,” Zullo said. “Both to potential clients and the creative talent that lives in Connecticut and would prefer to work closer to home. With more than 1,700 marketing and advertising companies in the state, Connecticut’s creative identity is expanding, and we are proud to play a leading role in that growth.”

“Connecticut needs to invest in the creative corridor that stretches from Hartford to Stamford,” Bonato said. “Grants and funding to these businesses are necessary to help bring greater exposure to Connecticut’s wealth of creative talent. As support grows for Connecticut based creative agencies, so, too, will Connecticut’s reputation for creative solutions, technology, and talent.”
