Northrop-Grumman Winds Down To Last Days In Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. -- The Northrop-Grumman facility in Norwalk continued its path toward shutting down permanently as another 50 employees left the building for the final time recently, according to thehour.com. 

In June 2012, the facility had 315 employees at 10 Norden Place when it announced plans to close the facility but now only about 45 remain. They'll stay there to finish shuttering the facility and prepare the space for when the lease ends in 2014, thehour.com said. 

Some employees were given the opportunity to continue their careers with Northrop-Grumannat the company's office in Rolling Meadows, Ill., or Baltimore.
