Developer Prepares Plan For Mall At 95/7 In Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. -- A New York City developer has moved one step closer to formalizing a proposal for a  700,000-square-foot mall at the intersection of West Avenue, Interstate 95 and Route 7 in Norwalk, according to the Fairfield County Business Journal.

The mall would be built over 30 months at a cost of $285 million. Developer General Growth Properties Inc. said the current infrastructure would be able to handle the additional mall traffic, the Business Journal reported. 

General Growth Properties expects to put a formal proposal in front of Norwalk officials within 60 days, the Business Journal said.
