Darien Rowayton Bank Celebrates 10th Anniversary

DARIEN, Conn. -- Darien Rowayton Bank (DRB), a market leader in commercial and consumer banking in Darien, Rowayton and Southport, will celebrate its 10th anniversary of operations this month. In ten years of doing business in the community, DRB has created many long-term banking relationships built on integrity and trust.

“Since its inception, DRB has received incredible support from the communities it serves,” Robert Kettenmann, President and Chief Operating Officer said. “Lower Fairfield County is a very competitive banking market and our success is a testament that superior customer service – coupled with great products and rates – has resonated well in the market.”

Over the past ten years, DRB has built a reputation as a bank centered on customer experience. Founded in 2006, DRB offers an array of products and services for both personal and business banking, including checking and cash management, savings, CDs, business financing, mortgage products and retirement products. DRB has also built a national student loan refinance program over the past three years and has completed over $1 billion in student loan refinancing.

“Our business continues to grow and this allows us to invest in our communities,” Kettenmann added. “DRB has created over 35 new jobs in the past 18 months and is poised to create more in the months ahead. At the same time, we have dramatically increased our support of non-profit and service organizations in our market,” he said.

To celebrate its 10th anniversary and to thank the local communities that have helped build DRB, the bank will be hosting Customer Appreciation Week from Monday, April 25 through Friday, April 29. Food, refreshments and giveaways will be distributed at both the Darien and Rowayton branches throughout the week. Commuters can also stop by the Darien and Noroton Heights train stations on Monday, April 25th from 5-9 a.m. and at the Rowayton train station on Tuesday, April 26 from 5-9 a.m. for free coffee and tea.
