Colliers Finds New Norwalk Home For Cottages And Gardens Publications

NORWALK, Conn. -- A luxury design magazine publisher has made a new home in a 6,000-square-foot office on Richards Avenue in Norwalk, officials said.

Colliers International recently secured a long-term lease for Cottages & Gardens Publications, which publishes magazines covering design, art, antiques, architecture and real estate.

The publishers’ titles include CTC&G (Connecticut Cottages & Gardens), HC&G (Hamptons Cottages & Gardens), NYC&G (New York Cottages & Gardens), and SFC&G (San Francisco Cottages & Gardens).

The move was referred to as a "big step" for Cottages & Gardens Publications.

“We outgrew our lovely space at East Avenue and look forward to starting our next chapter at 40 Richards Ave.,” said Marianne Howatson, the publisher's chief executive officer.

The property's owners, The Davis Cos., are renovating the building's cafeteria, fitness facility, common areas and landscaping, officials said.

Other tenants include Regus, First Niagara, Media Horizons, Pierson & Smith Inc., The BlackIron Group, Mh2 Direct, Heritage Partners, and Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.

Colliers International Associate Cameron Paktinat, Senior Managing Director Ian Ceppos and Executive Managing Director Michael Siegel represented Cottages and Gardens in the lease negotiations.
