Barnes & Noble To Close Norwalk Store By End Of Year

NORWALK, Conn. -- The Barnes & Noble on Connecticut Avenue in Norwalk will close up shop permanently after the holiday season with the store's lease is set to expire on Jan. 31, according to thehour.com.

Barnes & Noble will close its Norwalk location by the end of the year.

After that, book lovers will have to travel to the Westport store, located at 1076 Post Road E. or to the location in the Stamford Town Center, thehour.com reported.

The Barnes & Noble in Nrowalk opened in 1993 and corporate officials expect the store to close by the end of the year, thehour.com said.
