AT&T Gives $5,000 To Norwalk's Person-To-Person Scholarship Program

NORWALK, Conn. -- Harry Carey, AT&T Connecticut's director of external affairs, presented a check for a $5,000 grant to the Scholarship Program run by Person-to-Person, which serves Norwalk and Darien.

“Organizations like Person-to-Person change lives and position entire communities for brighter futures,” said Carey. “Education is the foundation for success for years to come. We commend Person-to-Person for its outstanding work, and we are proud to support its efforts in any way we can.” 

State Sen. Carlo Leone (D-Darien, Stamford) said that Person-to-Person is a valuable resource for many in the community. 

“They help restore the lives and integrity of our neighbors who need a helping hand. Thank you to AT&T for the $5,000 grant award," he said. "The support of AT&T for this important program, which offers a pathway out of poverty and supports the students’ journey toward self-sufficiency, is greatly appreciated."
